Based in Cumbernauld, we are a small group organising weekly walks held on Tuesday mornings. These are approximately 5 miles in length, taking around 2 hours to complete. The majority are accessed by bus (making use of our bus passes!). As you can see from the photograph opposite, we enjoy our walks and do not take things too seriously!
New members are welcome, see "contact us" for information if you are interested.

Most of the walks are in the Cumbernauld area, but we also go further afield, e.g. to the Kelvin Valley, Falkirk Wheel and Stirling areas. Because we keep our numbers low, we occasionally access walks by car - the photo opposite (top) was taken on a recent walk  at The Pineapple, near Airth, Many of the walks end with a visit to a convenient cafe.

Once a month on Thursdays we hold longer walks, taking about 4 hours. These are normally accessed by car and are in a variety of locations. The photo opposite (below) was taken on an outing to Balmaha on Loch Lomond taking in walks in the Millenium Woods and on the Island of Inchcailloch.
